The BlastGyro operates in several of the world’s top 10 gold mines, where accurate borehole surveys are essential for optimizing blast patterns, maximizing ore recovery, and enhancing safety. Its robust performance ensures reliable data collection in challenging underground conditions, contributing to efficient large-scale gold extraction.
Grand Paris metro
The SlimGyro was extensively used in the Grand Paris Metro expansion, a major infrastructure project adding 200 km of new metro lines. Its precise borehole surveys helped ensure ground stability and prevent subsidence in urban areas during tunneling, playing a crucial role in the safe excavation of new metro stations.
Record depth and time of survey
In geothermal exploration, the SlimGyro set a record by successfully surveying depths over 6,000 meters in a continuous 31-hour operation. Its durability and low power consumption make it ideal for extreme conditions, enabling the mapping of geothermal reservoirs for sustainable energy development.
Swedish nuclear waste repository
The TwinGyro was selected in a competitive process by SKB for new drilling at Forsmark, Sweden’s long-term nuclear waste repository. Its dual-gyro system provides superior accuracy while reducing rig downtime, ensuring compliance with strict safety and geological stability standards in one of the world’s most secure waste storage projects.
